| | On Friday, August 15th, twenty-four of Mocha Moo's "Best of Show" winners will compete in a singer-songwriter shootout. The winner will take home $1,500.00, second place, $500.00, and third place, $250.00 respectively.
A panel of three judges will score each performance based on songwriting, vocal performance, playing ability, stage presence, and audience response. The winner of each shootout will move to the next bracket until one is crowned Mocha Moo's 2008 Best of Show!
Although there is the competition element to this event, it is really about building the music community. The goal is to encourage singer-songwriter's by providing a venue and format that fosters talent development.
